She believes in it: Bahraini Football Player Who Follows her Dreams

By: Majed Essa & Ghader Alamri

The passion of Full Hessa for playing football

This feature story is of a girl named Full Hessa who is a national team football player of Bahrain and is playing the game for the last 10 years. It all started when she found her ability when she was playing basketball at first, then the day after that she went to a summer camp and played basketball elsewhere. A team of girls played football right next to this place. She was fascinated to watch them play rugby, so she wanted to join them as well. She then approached her coach and asked her that she would like to join the football team if the coach is happy for her to join the new game. The coach immediately approved and said that she is great for taking the initiative to join a new team.

How her watching of steps turned her into an expert

In the very first time, she followed them and watched football. This is the beginning of her trip. Within a year, the national team had a league. The officials watched her play in the league and appreciated her talent and how well she performed. They then decided to take her along to the National Football Team of Bahrain and accept her. The event that inspired Hessa to play football and eventually became a part of the team is her grandfather, who was a footballer in Bahrain’s national football team. However, he has the utmost praise for encouraging his grandparents.

Achievements and aspirations that made her a star player

Over 10 years, Hessa achieved huge success and in 2013, it was Hessant, the Asian Cup, where she played against the teams of Jordan and Palestine and played from the Team of Bahrain. She was able to win both these games and was selected for the Chinese Asian Cup final. Hessa is particularly proud of the successes and is famous for the saying that the player has certain inspiration and one specific motivation. Full Hessa has high aspirations and has a difficult query over the last ten years, that she was playing football and nearly played for both teams, but she needs to meet or compete with Christiane Ronaldo. At a very young age of 12, Hessa began playing football. She loves football because it helps her forget all her doubts and troubles in her life. She starts feeling whole when she hits the field and gets this magical feeling, which makes her comfortable and overlooks all else.

The future planning of Full Hessa

Hessa claims that she will be employed at a police academy in the future because she does not want to make a living from playing. She also said that she would help her daughter if she also decides to be a footballer. Hessa has no specific objectives for herself. Hessa claims that for the rest of her life she did not want to be alone and will get married later. She also wants to encourage her children to play football or any other activity they want, whether it was her sons or daughters.

Career vs Passion fights of Full Hessa

She wants her entire life to play football and try it as a career, but unfortunately, she does not get much income by playing. She also said that men and women can do the same job here in the Middle East, although that is not likely in Bahrain. Further, in Europe, America, or anywhere in the world, this might be possible. Hessa also mentioned that she is against being in the same teams, as followed by certain women and men and it is necessary to experience different teams.
